At Impact Advisors Mexico, you’ll work at the intersection of Epic, healthcare data, interface development, and data conversion, supporting implementation and optimization initiatives for U.S. healthcare organizations.

This role is idóneo for a technically strong professional who can translate complex healthcare data requirements into reliable integration solutions—and who is passionate about data accuracy, interoperability, and high-quality patient information.

What You’ll Do

Interface Development & Integration

- Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot Epic Bridges interfaces between Epic and external systems.
- Develop interface specifications, translation tables, mapping documentation, and integration workflows.
- Ensure interface solutions align with Epic standards and the organization’s integration architecture.
- Support healthcare interoperability using HL7, XML, APIs, and FHIR.

Data Conversion & Migration

- Define and execute data conversion strategies, including interfaces, extracts, and uploads.
- Develop data mapping, transformation logic, and conversion documentation.
- Extract and transform legacy data using SQL, XML, HL7, and related technologies.
- Configure Bridges and middleware components to support data ingestion into Epic.
- Develop validation scripts and perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve interface errors, data discrepancies, and conversion issues.
- Partner with SMEs and application teams to validate converted data within Epic.

API & Technical Integration

- Support API development and integration using REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and OpenAPI.
- Apply programming skills in Java or C# to support integration and conversion solutions.




- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration approaches.

Testing, Implementation & Go-Live

- Lead or support unit, integrated, conversion, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop test scenarios, validation scripts, and reconciliation processes.
- Support mock conversions, cutover planning, data loads, and go-live activities.
- Execute pre- and post-live validation cycles.
- Provide post-go-live support and ongoing interface monitoring.

Collaboration & Consulting

- Analyze workflows and business requirements to support integration and conversion design.
- Collaborate with Epic application teams, technical teams, SMEs, and client stakeholders.
- Communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and project progress to leadership.
- Contribute to a collaborative healthcare IT consulting environment focused on client impact.

What You’ll Bring

Required

- 3+ years of experience in interface development, data conversion, migration, or healthcare integration.
- Experience with data extraction, transformation, mapping, and validation.
- Strong experience with SQL, XML, HL7, or similar healthcare data technologies.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and/or OpenAPI.
- Experience with Java or C#.
- Strong understanding of the data conversion lifecycle and interface workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and operational stakeholders.

Nice to Have

- Epic Bridges Certification.
- Hands-on experience with HL7 interfaces and integration engines.
- Experience with Mirth, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, or Ensemble.
- Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimization initiatives.




- Knowledge of healthcare data domains such as ADT, orders, results, and billing.
- Familiarity with HL7, X12, and FHIR interoperability standards.
- Previous experience in healthcare IT consulting.
- Experience supporting U.S. healthcare organizations.
- Experience with one or more of these applications will be highly valued: Millennium /Oracle Health / Medview / TrakCare / Tasy Java/HTML5
