In this role you will be responsible for responsible of ensuring product and manufacturing process are consistent and with high quality.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
- Develop and maintain quality standards, control plans, and quality documentation to ensure compliance throughout sub-assembly and finished goods manufacturing processes.
- Lead quality planning activities for new product launches and program development (Phase 0-4), including PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, inspections, and participation in cross-functional reviews and workshops.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks by implementing preventive actions, containment measures, corrective actions, and lessons learned across programs and production lines.
- Ensure customer requirements and specifications are consistently met by validating product and process quality, monitoring process capability, and supporting approvals prior to shipment.
- Coordinate cross-functional quality improvement and problem-solving initiatives, including audits, management reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA alignment, 8D analysis, and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams.
If you have/are:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Core Quality Tools.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and quality systems, preferably in production, quality engineering,
industrial engineering, or project management environments.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis expertise, including solution methodologies, risk assessment, and continuous improvement practices.
- Understanding of customer-specific requirements and quality standards, with the ability to ensure compliance throughout product development and manufacturing.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with DraftSight or similar technical drawing software.
- Knowledge of PFMEA Go, See & Fix (GSF) methodology.
- Familiarity with cross-functional project teams and new product launch processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.
