Position: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico (Onsite)

Reports To: Import/Export and Logistics Manager - Austin, TX

Position Summary The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution, coordination, and visibility of Infinitum inbound transportation activities from suppliers in Asia, Europe, Mexico, the United

States, and other regions into Infinitum manufacturing and receiving locations.

Based in Ramos Arizpe, this role schedules pickups, coordinates suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders, tracks shipments in transit, maintains shipment status and logistics reporting, confirms deliveries, manages routine transportation exceptions, and supports shipments of motors and other Infinitum-controlled materials from Ramos Arizpe to Fan Systems Contract Manufacturers in the United States. The position works closely with Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Import/Export, Contract Manufacturing, and logistics providers to ensure reliable and timely material movement.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate global inbound logistics (Asia, EU, US, MX) and US cross-border motor exports.
- Confirm supplier readiness, pickup dates, carrier assignments, and shipping specs before release.
- Track active shipments end-to-end and maintain a daily open-shipment register and ensure all active shipments have current status, ETA, exception ownership, andnext action.
- Communicate shipment status, delays, and risks to Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, and Customs.
- Own transportation exceptions through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up, clear next actions, and closure of all open issues. Escalate critical, production-impacting, or expedited freight issues to Austin Management.
- Support Ocean, Air, FTL, LTL, Parcel, Drayage, and US-Mexico cross-bordermovements.
- Align shipping schedules with Import/Export to ensure seamless customs clearance.




- Obtain freight quotes, enforce routing compliance, review invoices, and manage claims.
- Support carrier scorecards, freight-spend analysis, logistics KPIs, and process automation.

Qualifications & Experience Required

- 3-5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight forwarding, shipping, materials coordination, or related roles.
- Experience coordinating inbound or outbound freight in a manufacturing, distribution, freight-forwarding, or logistics environment.
- Ability to support time-sensitive logistics activities and communicate with integral suppliers and carriers across multiple time zones when business needs require.
- High degree of accuracy, strong follow-through, and exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred

- Experience supporting manufacturing operations and global supplier networks, including, Asia-to-North America and US-Mexico cross-border transportation.
- Working knowledge of ocean, air, FTL, LTL, parcel, drayage, and expedited, transportation.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, 3PLs, carriers, and customs-related, stakeholders; exposure to Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and creating shipment dashboards, logistics reports, or transportation KPIs.
- Experience supporting consignment, Kanban, or Contract Manufacturer replenishment models.

Key Performance Indicators

- On-time shipment pickup and on-time transportation delivery.
- Shipment-status, milestone, and ETA accuracy.
- Percentage of shipments with complete and current tracking information and delivery confirmation.
- Timeliness and accuracy of logistics reports, shipment records, and freight documentation.
- Routing-instruction compliance, open-exception aging, and carrier issue resolution cycle time.
- Cross-border motor shipment performance to Fan Systems Contract Manufacturers and transaction volume managed while maintaining service and accuracy.
