The Manufacturing Engineer is a hands-on development role focused on understanding how work is performed on the production floor, identifying problems, and finding practical ways to make processes easier, safer, faster, and more efficient.

This is an accelerated development opportunity designed to build strong technical, problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills, preparing high-potential talent for future opportunities in Product Development or Production Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Spend full time on the production floor understanding processes and operator needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, ergonomics, quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Analyze problems, identify root causes, and develop practical, data-driven solutions.
- Lead and support continuous improvement and process optimization projects.
- Work directly with operators to understand challenges and implement improvements.
- Improve and standardize manual manufacturing processes and work methods.
- Track results, measure improvements, and follow up on action plans.
- Build strong working relationships with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Develop leadership,



communication, and project management skills through hands-on experience.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; internships and co-op experience are considered.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Strong leadership
- High energy, initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working hands-on and spending significant time on the production floor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with operators and production teams.
- English is desirable, but not required.
