As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for improving operational performance by identifying and eliminating waste, optimizing manufacturing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role analyzes process performance, resolves technical manufacturing issues, and supports productivity, quality, and cost objectives. This is a full-time, on-site position located at our Guadalupe, NL plant.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering required.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.

Responsibilities

- Lead continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment to improve process utilization, labor variance.
- Generate systems to maintain high levels of manufacturing and product quality.
- Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards.
- Key responsibility is to coordinate and improve current Manufacturing systems throughout the plant (5s, Visual Factory, Gemba Walks).
- Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports.
- Communicate project results to all levels.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality,



and Engineering teams to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

- Advanced English level.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organization and management skills.
- Strong analytical thinker.
- Independent.
- Focused on results.
- Microsoft office (Power Point, Word, Excel, Power BI).
- Lean Manufacturing tools (Heijunka, SMED, TPM).
- Core tools (Control Plan, FMEA, Process Flow).
- Continuous improvement methodologies.
