Your Epic Quest as Our Growth Marketing Maestro

This is the third person in marketing. There's a brand, a message, a pipeline of content, and an early martech stack - but no one operating the engine underneath it. You'll build that engine, then run programs through it.

You will own how Penguin Ai generates, measures, and converts demand. Not one channel. The function.

We are not looking for someone to run the playbook they ran at their last three companies. The standard B2B demand engine - gated PDF into MQL into nurture into a sales handoff - was built for a buying process that no longer exists. We want someone who knows that, has already stopped doing it, and can show us what they replaced it with. If the answer to every problem is a webinar and a LinkedIn lead gen form, this is the wrong role.

Your First 90 Days: The Mission Briefing!

This is a build role before it is a growth role. Early work is unglamorous and load-bearing:

- Fix the data. Audit and rebuild HubSpot so it is accurate - lifecycle stages, lead source, routing, deduplication, and campaign attribution
- Operationalise the ICP. Turn the persona model and MQL scoring matrix that already exist on paper into something the system actually runs on
- Stand up account-level reporting. A standard lead-volume MQL model does not work against a named-account motion - build one that does
- Expand paid. Take it beyond the existing brand protection campaign
- Ship a report everyone trusts. A weekly pipeline and program report that marketing and sales actually agree on

Your Day-to-Day Superpowers: What You’ll Actually Do:

- Marketing operations and the martech stack. HubSpot as system of record - lifecycle stages, lead routing, scoring, data hygiene, CRM sync, campaign structure, and the reporting sales actually trusts
- Paid media. Search, LinkedIn, retargeting, and account-based display - strategy, execution, budget, and results
- Attribution and pipeline reporting. Building a defensible picture of what creates pipeline in a market with long cycles and large buying committees
- Account-based programs. Coverage, targeting, and measurement against a named list of payer and provider accounts, coordinated closely with sales
- Lifecycle and nurture. Email programs, sequences, re-engagement, and the workflows behind every campaign, webinar, and content offer
- Website conversion. Forms, landing pages, testing, and the path from visit to qualified conversation
- Self-serve product funnel. Signup, activation,

and expansion motion for Gwen, our product-led product - secondary to enterprise pipeline, but it is live and it needs an owner

What We're Looking For: Your Arsenal!

- 5 to 8 years in B2B demand generation, growth, or marketing operations, ideally with time at a company where marketing was two or three people. Candidates from large, specialized marketing organizations are usually not a fit for this scope
- Hands-on HubSpot ownership. You personally built or rebuilt an instance - workflows, custom properties, lifecycle stages, routing, scoring, reporting. Not "partnered with an ops team."
- Direct paid media management. You ran the accounts yourself. Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads at minimum
- Written English at a professional, native-equivalent level. This role writes ad copy, subject lines, landing pages, and nurture emails aimed at US healthcare executives. This is a hard bar and will be tested in the process, not assumed from a resume
- Evidence of learning a complex, regulated domain quickly. Healthcare experience is welcome and rare. Fintech, insurance, or compliance-heavy SaaS is a strong substitute
- Current practice, not accumulated practice. You can describe how your approach has changed in the last eighteen months and why: signal-based targeting over form-fill volume, buying group scoring over individual lead scoring, enrichment workflows you built rather than bought, and visibility in AI search treated as a real channel rather than a slide in a deck
- Builds their own tooling. Comfortable stitching together automations, scripts, enrichment workflows, and AI agents to do work that would otherwise require headcount or a vendor. We sell an AI Workforce that takes administrative burden off healthcare teams - we expect the person running our demand engine to think the same way about their own work
- Comfort with ambiguity and no support structure. No agency, no ops team, no analyst. You build it or it does not exist

Who's NOT a Fit: Red Flags We Screen For

- Agency-only backgrounds where the work was client servicing rather than owning a number

- Portfolios built entirely on e-commerce or D2C customer acquisition cost - the instinct to optimise cost per lead will damage a named-account motion
- Specialists who have only run one channel
- Candidates who need an established process to work inside
- Candidates who describe the same program mix at every company they have worked at - the tell is that nothing they do is specific to the business they did it for
- Tool lists without stories. Naming the modern stack is free now - what matters is a problem they solved with it that they could not have solved otherwise

Bonus Points: Your Secret Weapons!

- Has killed a program that was working on paper because it was not producing pipeline - and can explain the argument they had to win to do it
- Has worked a named-account motion rather than a raw lead volume goal, and has an opinion about where lead scoring breaks down
- Built an interactive tool, calculator, model, or assessment that outperformed gated content, rather than defaulting to the gated asset
- Uses signal and intent data to decide who to talk to, not just to report on who visited
- Has a working position on AI search visibility and whether their buyers are finding answers without ever reaching a website
- Can explain an attribution model they chose, and what it got wrong
- Has fixed a broken lead routing rule at an inconvenient hour rather than filing a ticket
- SQL, Python, Looker, or serious data fluency - especially if self-taught for a specific problem
- Experience with a product-led funnel alongside an enterprise sales motion
- Familiarity with US healthcare payer or provider operations

The Culture Fit: Join Our Colony! You'll waddle with us if:

- You like your coffee with a side of delightful chaos
- You're fuelled by complexity and obsessed with delivering amazing results
- You want to deliver something that fundamentally matters, transforms healthcare and ultimately saves lives

Education & Qualifications: Brainiac Basics

- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience building and running a B2B demand engine

Comp & Perks: Because Even Superheroes Need Support!

- Competitive salary: We reward greatness!
- Medical, vision, and dental coverage: Keep you healthy and smiling
- Generous vacation policy and company holidays: Recharge and conquer!
- A front-row seat in one of healthcare's most exciting AI companies – witness history in the making
