RESPONSIBILITIES
Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
Confer with appropriate internal management to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for assignment of project personnel.
Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Review status reports and other documentation prepared by project employees, customers and other contractors and modify schedules or plans as required. Prepare and present project reports for management, customers, or others. Gather and develop back-up material for change order requests.
Coordinate project activities with customers and other contractors, as required.
Direct supervisory responsibility for Field Engineers and Technicians during the time frame they are assigned to projects.
Mentor lower-level project management employees and teach good project management practices.
Develop large-scale project management processes and routines for use throughout the company.

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English & Spanish)
Strong knowledge PMI strategies as well as overall project management tools
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in production/Operations Management, or Engineering or equivalent business experience
