**Responsibilities**:
- Creating various financial statements and reports.
- Participating in the month-end closing process through journal entry creation and input, account reconciliation preparation and data analysis.
- Initiating and verifying postings of intercompany billings
- Partnering with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with MSA's financial policies and controls.
- Performing data analysis, trending and reporting for the Northern North America region and its companies on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Assisting with the planning, implementation and completion of various financial projects that can be localized or integral in scope.
**Qualifications**:
** Education and Experience Required**:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or related discipline required.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
**Special knowledge, skills and abilities required**:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables and complex formula building)
- English at a professional level
- Highly organized and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience with month-end closing process
- Account reconciliation preparation
- Excellent communication skills; Experience working and communicating with Executive Leadership/Departmental Leadership
**Preferred**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- SAP ECC (FICO) experience - ECC6/S4 Hana
- Oracle FCCS experience
- Oracle ARCS experience
- Understanding Accounting for a Manufacturing company
- Experience creating PowerPoint presentation
- PowerBi
- Chat GPT, Copilot, and/or other AI tools
