**What will you do?
**
In this position, you will support the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment and participate in training and developing of salaried and hourly employees, and in the development of highly effective teams.
You will support Integral Manufacturing Systems (GMS) processes across multiple departments and serves as a resource supporting launch and pilot activities in assigned areas while helping to meet or exceed production cost schedule and maintains quality requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain awareness of quality standards, and communicates department quality goals, and utilizes resources to solve quality issues.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with employees, union and management
- Understands and consistently administer the National and Local Agreements between General Motors and the Union
- Implements and follows systems that prevent reoccurrence of known issues
- Promote safe work practices and achieve objectives for ergonomics, health and safety and housekeeping.
Motivates, trains and develops employees to effectively perform their jobs utilizing standardized methods
- Ensure team members receive adequate JIT (job instruction training)

- On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis
- Availability to rotate shifts (4x2 and 5x2 schedules)
**Additional Job Description**
**Required Qualifications**:
- All engineering and related.
- Intermediate advanced english,
- Required experience in similar position: from 2 to 4 years.




- Experience in a manufacturing environment is required (Automotive Industry preferred).
- Experience in casting processes: Precision Sand and Semi-Permanent Mold (desirable)
