About the position The SME Time & Scheduling role supports payroll readiness and operational stability by combining Time & Scheduling (Work Force Management) process knowledge with technical reporting, data validation, ticket governance, and continuous improvement. The role is expected to help prevent payroll-impacting issues through accurate validations, clear stakeholder follow-up, ServiceNow ticket visibility, SOP documentation, and scalable reporting across Dayforce WFM, Indeavor, Workday, ServiceNow, Snowflake / DeWeb outputs, and Payroll reporting needs .
Responsibilities
- Support pre-payroll and pay-run day activities, including time file readiness, timesheet review, missing punches, exceptions, unauthorized records, approvals, retro activity, and payroll handoff requirements.
- Execute and improve recurring T&S; validations and reports, including Time File Submission, Total Hours Report , Unauthorized Records , Rate Validation, Job Step Progression / Wage Progression, schedule readiness, labor account / work assignment reviews, LOA / leave / termination checks, Accruals and Balances report (PTO), and KPI/KBI dashboards.
- Monitor and manage ServiceNow tickets within T&S; scope, including intake review, documentation, first investigation, SLA follow-up, aging control, escalation, and closure evidence.
- Perform cross-system data validations across Dayforce WFM, Indeavor, Workday, ServiceNow, Snowflake / DeWeb, Kronos legacy references, and Payroll outputs to identify discrepancies before payroll impact.
- Partner with HR plant teams, Payroll, PBS, BU stakeholders, Technology / Digital teams, and ServiceNow support to resolve issues, clarify ownership, and maintain visibility of risks and actions.
- Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, process calendars, report definitions, evidence logs, KT materials, and tracker governance to support BAU readiness and audit discipline.
- Identify repetitive manual work, reporting gaps, recurring errors, and payroll-risk trends that can be standardized, automated, or converted into stronger controls.
- Provide technical guidance to peers on dashboard usage, reporting logic, validation steps, and data-driven ways of working.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or related field preferred. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- +2 years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, HRIS, reporting, analytics, or operational support.
- Strong hands-on capability in Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SQL or structured data analysis, dashboard development, data reconciliation, and recurring report automation.
- Experience or ability to quickly learn Dayforce WFM, Indeavor, Workday, ServiceNow, Payroll reports, Snowflake / DeWeb outputs, and workforce management data flows.
- Working knowledge of ticket management, SLA tracking, root cause analysis, escalation documentation, and evidence-based issue resolution.
- Strong ownership, analytical thinking, sense of urgency, attention to detail, stakeholder communication, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Intermediate English is acceptable when the candidate demonstrates strong technical execution, documentation discipline, and clear stakeholder communication.
- Preferred certifications: PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst, DP-900 Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Office Specialist Excel Expert, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or ServiceNow Fundamentals.
