The EHS Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
This role will promote a strong safety culture, conduct risk assessments, lead training initiatives, and support incident investigations to ensure a safe and sustainable working environment
- The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for managing and implementing safety, environmental and hygiene standards that support the work process on site.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk & hazard assessments on the production floor.
- Lead and coordinate the site's incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure legal compliance with Federal, Local, Internal Regulations and organization internal directives.
- Identify, evaluate, and control risks to drive improvements in EHS performance and production efficiency.
- Ensure facility standards are in compliance with Governmental, Local and internal Directives.
- Develop and deliver EHS-related training/awareness programs (e.g., PPE usage, Lockout/Tagout, ergonomics, chemical handling, emergency response) promoting a culture of prevention.
- Manage relationship with Third Party Contractors onsite
- Developing and implementing EHS plans aligned with company goals.




- Partner with supervisors and leaders to proactively address ergonomic and other risk factors present on site.
- Implement and manage security programs throughout the site, ensure effective safety and hygiene practices, manage risks and risks control.
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering.
- Three years of responsible professional experience in environmental, health and safety compliance.
- Ability to develop and conduct effective safety and environmental training programs
- Ability to prepare reports and manuals interpreting and summarizing technical and/or complex information for use by less knowledgeable individuals
- Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple and diverse work assignments with mínimal direction and supervision.
- Ability to work discretely with confidential information
- Excellent verbal communication skills
