Job Title: Associate Software Engineer, Cloud Software Engineer
Department: R&D;
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Overview:
- The Position will report to the Data Cloud Org.
Responsibilities:
- Develops in Java, tests and documents Cloud AWS software for new and existing Insulet products.
- Works closely with other software, software QA, and hardware engineers to integrate, debug, and test systems.
- Learn and follow Insulet Design Assurance SOPs
- Provide timely support to team customers




Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1+ year's software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated work experience with Web services, Cloud and API technologies.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Understanding of Cloud architectural patterns and design
- Experience building SpringBoot microservices
- Experience with document and file databases, e.g. MongoDB
- Experience working as Java developer
- Understanding of software development principles and patterns, e.g. TDD, SOLID, Gang of Four
- Experience with Git or similar version control solution
- Occasional business travel within US
