Hardware Design activities of Material Handling Automation Systems with mentorship from more senior engineers.
This includes but not limited to Support on the preparation of Documents such as calculations, design specifications, Description of Operations, and Test Specification, Attendance and support to more senior engineers on the preparation of documents for Technical Reviews Internals and with Customer.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**This is What you Will Do in This Role**:
You will have multiple responsibilities, using prescribed guidelines and policies which include, but are not limited to:
**_Electrical (HW) Design - With mentorship from more senior engineers.
_**




- _Interprets design input information to produce simple control systems designs.
_
- _Select and placement of electrical and controls components in conveyor system ensuring accurate functioning.
( _Photoeyes _, I/O Blocks, Beacon Lights, Control Stations, Gateways, VFDs, _etc _) _.
_
- _Builds Electrical Layouts and Schematic Drawings using _appropriate CAD _tools.
_
- _Performs FLA, Power Drop, Cable Length, and other calculations ensuring designs proper functioning and compliance with Dematic and Industrial Standards.

- _Designs of Industrial Networks following both Dematic and Industrial standards (Ethernet, _ProfiBus _/ _ProfiNet _, _ASi _, DCAN, _etc _).

**_Software _**_(SW) _**_Design - With mentorship from more senior engineers.
_**:
- _Design simple conveyor controls software using programming tools such as AB Logix Designer, Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7, etc.

- _Creation of Embedded Conveyor Controllers (ECCs) configuration and parameters files.
_
- _Attendance and material preparation for Software Technical Reviews.
_
- _Creation of Conveyor System Emulation Models for further testing.

**What we are looking for**:
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a related field and demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
- Mechatronic Engineer Degree or related
- Basic Experience in the engineering work environment (school projects or internships acceptable).
- Basic knowledge and/or understanding in:
- Applied knowledge of PLC software (Siemens, ABB, Bechoff).
- Applied knowledge of Electrical Technical Drawing.
- Applied knowledge of Industrial Network configuration (ProfiNet, ASi, CAN).
- Applied Knowledge of automation systems.
