**Job Summary**:The Product Development Engineer will develop and implement solutions that are integral to Moffitt Ventilation products that provide Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) to our customers' buildings.
The job is not remote or hybrid and is in Tijuana, Mexico.
This position requires *****% overnight travel to manufacturing facilities and installation locations in North America for on-site technical support.
**Must Have** Education and Experience**:
- Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in both Spanish and English.
- Education: 4-year engineering or technical degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of product development experience in the HVAC industry or a similar industry.
- Fans and motors.
- Sheet metal, fasteners,



hardware and industrial cabinetry design experience.
- Painting.
- Welding.
- SolidWorks or equivalent CAD experience.
**Skill/Job Requirements**:
- Must be Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite and Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu.
- Must be self-motivated, responsible, and dependable with the ability to work independently as well as in team setting.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional presence on the phone, video calls and in person.
- Must have a technical mindset that can be applied to design and problem solving.
- Experience in NetSuite is desired.
- Experience in engineering and quality management system tools such as root cause analysis, Ishikawa diagram, Pareto Chart, Process Capability, 8D problem solving, FMEA, DVP&R;, six sigma, and brainstorming is desired.
