Job Title: Program Manager / PMO (Automotive) Location: Zaragoza Plant - Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico Reports To: Director of Program Management

Objective: We are seeking a highly accountable and hands-on Program Manager / PMO to ensure the successful delivery of strategic automotive programs. You will lead cross-functional teams, align project objectives with organizational goals, ensure timely delivery, and optimize resource utilization. This role requires an accountable leader who is comfortable working directly on the shop floor and driving results across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Leadership as PMO: Lead and manage multiple interrelated automotive programs from inception to launch, serving as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engineering & Quality Integration: Manage all phases of the APQP process. Participate in DFMEA reviews, analyze designs, and demonstrate a strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Financial & Cost Management: Supervise budget development, control project costs, and track BOM (Bill of Materials) cost variations. Work closely with Sourcing and Purchasing departments to ensure financial targets are met.
- Shop Floor Engagement: Actively participate on the shop floor to oversee equipment conditions, support production transitions, ensure 3Q6S standards, and solve issues directly where the value is created.
- Customer & Supplier Interaction:



Represent Nidec in meetings with automotive clients and suppliers. Ensure customer requirements are met and maintain excellent customer scorecard feedback.
- Risk & Schedule Management: Provide status reports to management and the Product Line Steering Committee, proactively identifying time, cost, and implementation risks.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with information security guidelines (TISAX, ISO 27001) and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards.

Requirements & Profile:

- Education: University Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience acting as a PMO or Program Manager in the automotive industry. Experience with automotive electric motors is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of the APQP process, DFMEA, and engineering blueprint reading.
- Financial Acumen: Strong capability to apply financial principles, manage budgets, and analyze BOM cost variations.
- Language: Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory for interacting with global teams and customers.
- Leadership: "Leader accountable" mindset with strong conflict resolution, assertiveness, and hands-on floor experience.
- Travel Requirements: Must possess a valid Mexican Passport and US Visa. Willingness to travel globally as required by the business.
