An international company in the construction and project-based operations industry is looking for an experienced QC & Safety Manager to oversee quality control and workplace safety activities across multiple active projects.

This position is adecuado for someone with a strong background in electrical construction, quality control, and safety programs, who is comfortable working directly with field teams, maintaining compliance documentation, conducting inspections and trainings, and supporting the continuous improvement of internal digital tools used for quality and safety management.

The selected candidate will work closely with field supervisors, project engineers, project managers, and other operational teams to promote safe work practices, maintain quality standards, and ensure projects follow established procedures, specifications, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and continuously improve company safety and quality control programs across active projects.
- Maintain safety manuals, procedures, and site-specific safety documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate and deliver safety trainings, toolbox talks, and other field safety initiatives.
- Maintain accurate training, certification, inspection, and safety records.
- Track safety performance indicators, incidents, near misses, training completion, and other relevant operational metrics.
- Investigate safety incidents and near misses and ensure appropriate follow-up and documentation.
- Support subcontractor safety documentation and project startup requirements.




- Perform regular quality inspections in coordination with field teams.
- Review completed work against approved plans, project specifications, and established quality standards.
- Develop and maintain inspection checklists, quality documentation, project breakdowns, and inspection records.
- Document inspections and project conditions using photos and digital reporting tools.
- Coordinate with project and field teams to address quality issues and corrective actions.
- Review productivity and operational reports and provide recommendations when necessary.
- Support the management and improvement of internal digital tools used for safety and quality control.
- Identify system issues, document requirements, test improvements, and communicate with software or technical support teams.
- Help prioritize enhancements to internal inspection, reporting, certification, and safety-management systems.

Required Qualifications
- Strong professional experience in electrical construction, preferably in commercial, multifamily, industrial, or similar project environments.
- Previous experience developing, managing, or supporting safety and/or quality control programs.
- Working knowledge of workplace safety regulations and electrical construction standards.




- Experience conducting field inspections and reviewing work against plans, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Experience managing safety documentation, certifications, inspections, and compliance records.
- Ability to lead safety trainings and communicate expectations clearly with field personnel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation and follow-up.
- Comfortable using digital reporting platforms, construction applications, or similar technology.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with field supervisors, engineers, project managers, and other operational teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial or multifamily electrical construction.
- Familiarity with Cal/OSHA requirements and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Previous involvement with construction or field-management applications.
- Experience working with software developers or technical teams to improve internal operational systems.
- Experience defining system requirements, reporting bugs, testing new features, or managing improvement requests.
- Knowledge of safety and quality performance metrics in construction environments.

- On-site position (Candidates must be currently located in Hermosillo, Sonora)
