Tasks
As a Hardware Engineer, you can expect to...
+Work on exciting vehicle electrification and energy storage projects with PEM Motion Mexico's diverse client base.
+Understand and contribute to product designs, component selection, and technologies fundamental to small vehicle electrification (Li-Ion batteries, BMS, inverter, ECU, motor, etc).
+Design analog, digital, and power electronics circuits using a structured approach: solution architecture, calculations, simulation, and verification.
+Create, capture, and analyze hardware schematics, BOMs, and printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for electronics focused on mobility and energy solutions.
+Utilize engineering disciplines such as Six Sigma, DFMEA, DFM/DFA/DFT, and Worst Case Analysis to ensure robust, production-ready designs.
+Develop system and component test plans and protocols to validate hardware designs against specifications and regulatory standards.
+Design and develop test instrumentation and support hardware to verify prototypes and production units.
+Lead and support technical discussions with suppliers and manufacturing partners.




+Understand system-level requirements and balance design decisions to meet technical specifications and cost targets.
+Create project timelines and execute structured plans to achieve defined milestones and deliverables.
Profile
For your start as Model Based Design Embedded System Engineer we expect
+Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
+More than 2 years of experience in analog, digital, and power electronics design and PCB layout.
+Strong experience in taking hardware designs from concept through production, understanding manufacturing implications.
+Solid technical fluency in English (reading, analyzing, and writing technical documentation).
+Proficiency using laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, signal generators, etc.) and hardware development tools.
+Experience with simulation and analysis tools for circuit design (SPICE simulators, etc.)
+Experience in PCB Design (Altium)
+Excellent organizational skills, teamwork spirit, communication abilities, and a hands-on mindset.
+Passion for mobility innovation and high-quality product development.
