**SUMMARY**
This position is accountable for the timely research and resolution of merchandise vendor disputes and inquiries in order to ensure proper payment and/or understanding of terms set forth in the vendor agreements.
This includes fostering strong partnerships with the merchandise vendor, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain and Merchandising throughout the resolution process.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for handling all aspects of individual vendor disputes
- Participate and contribute to the key initiatives of the department
- Reconciliation of large vendor's monthly statements
- Assist in department level process improvement projects
- Analyze reporting to identify vendor noncompliance
- Create and publish departmental metrics as assigned
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
- Area of Study: Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Years of Experience: Two to three years.
- Type of Experience: Relevant work experience
- Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Other/Preferred: Strong human relations, analytical, oral and written communication skills
