Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead corporate interior construction projects in Querétaro City, Mexico . In this role, you will oversee complex interior fit-out projects from conception through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive project success through strategic planning, decisive leadership, and meticulous attention to detail.
Plan, organize, and execute corporate interior construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and organizational objectives
Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans; monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed
Lead and mentor project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff; foster collaboration and accountability across all project phases
Manage vendor relationships,
negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement activities to optimize costs without compromising quality
Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and client requirements
Identify and analyze project risks; develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize delays and cost overruns
Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and financial records; communicate status updates to stakeholders
Coordinate with architects, designers, and engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide financial forecasting and analysis to senior management
Ensure compliance with Mexican construction codes, regulations, and safety protocols throughout all project phases
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years managing corporate interior construction or fit-out projects
Proven expertise in budget management, cost control, and financial forecasting
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct diverse teams
Advanced proficiency in project management software and tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Familiarity with Mexican construction regulations, building codes, and safety standards
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential
Preferred: Experience with corporate interior design projects and knowledge of the Querétaro construction market
Preferred: Familiarity with CAD software or design visualization tools
