Senior Product Manager (Cross-Border Payments)

We are building modern financial infrastructure for businesses in Mexico, integrating financial services smoothly and securely while eliminating banking friction. Operating on proprietary payment rails (direct SPEI connectivity and an Electronic Payment Funds Institution / IFPE framework), we are looking for a Senior Product Manager for Cross-Border to take full ownership of the vision, strategy, roadmap, and profitability of our international payments business line.

What You Will Do

- Strategy and Roadmap Execution: Define and execute the phased product roadmap: (S1) shipping the core product on IFPE rails, multi-currency wallets, US VA/VNA accounts, and automated China corridors; (S2) margin internalization, stablecoin custody and yield, and dynamic FX engine; (S3) proprietary ledger, multi-provider smart routing, and FX forwards.
- Economic Modeling & Unit Economics: Design pricing structures, spreads, take rates vs. revenue share, operating costs, and liquidity strategies, balancing revenue, risk, and development velocity.
- Corridor & Infrastructure Development: Build direct corridors (US, EUR/SEPA, CNY) and manage liquidity, custody partners, and automated basis-point reconciliations.
- Stablecoin & Digital Asset Strategy: Lead initiatives across minting/burning (USDC/USDT), custodial vs. non-custodial architecture, sweeps, and network coverage within full regulatory compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate closely with Legal/Compliance to navigate Mexican financial frameworks (IFPE, anti-money laundering regulations, Banxico/CNBV reporting) and VASP licensing standards.
- Technical & Cross-Functional Leadership:



Partner with Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Growth teams, translating technical infrastructure requirements (REST APIs, webhooks, ledgers) into business impact.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience: 6+ years as a Product Manager, with at least 3 years in B2B payments, cross-border, FX, or mission-critical fintech infrastructure managing real money in production.
- Deep Payment Domain Knowledge: Proven expertise in traditional rails (SPEI, SPID, TEF, ACH, SWIFT, VA/VNA/FBO, CLABE, CEP), FX operations (spot, forwards, rate locks), and stablecoins (on/off-ramps, custody, sweeps, minting/burning).
- Regulatory Acumen: Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks (such as Mexican IFPE/CNBV/Banxico requirements and AML/KYC policies).
- Technical Fluency: Ability to read and design around REST APIs, webhooks, hierarchical account/ledger architectures, and direct SQL querying.
- Languages: Advanced / Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Nice to Have: Experience with Asian markets, hands-on projects/certifications with Fireblocks, Circle, Chainalysis, or Tether, and strong background in Web3 security.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary Range: $110,000 – $160,000 MXN gross per month.
- Contract Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor (RESICO / professional fees).
- Location: Hybrid in Mexico City (2 days onsite in Condesa / 3 days remote) or 100% Remote across LATAM.
