About The Role In this role, you will develop and enhance a customer-facing digital commerce platform that enables users to explore, compare, and purchase protection plans for home systems, utility lines, and appliances. You will contribute to the delivery of scalable, high-performing web experiences within a modernization initiative for a leading American public utility company, driving improvements in customer engagement and online purchasing experiences.

Responsibilities

- Develop responsive and high-performance web experiences using React and Next.js to improve customer engagement while collaborating with designers and product stakeholders
- Implement intuitive and visually consistent user interfaces from Figma designs to accelerate feature delivery and enhance user experience across teams
- Design and maintain scalable content workflows through Contentstack CMS integration, enabling efficient content management in collaboration with client representatives
- Develop custom VTEX applications for commerce functionality, including plan comparison tools and dynamic coverage calculators
- Build and maintain application components using Node.js, JavaScript, SASS, and CSS across the full technology stack
- Conduct comprehensive testing activities to ensure application quality, performance, reliability, and seamless user experiences
- Participate in product development discussions,



contributing to technical decisions, solution design, and implementation strategies
- Drive continuous improvements in development practices, application performance, and product quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Requirements

- 2+ years of professional experience in software development roles
- Strong knowledge of React and Next.js for building modern web applications
- Advanced experience with Node.js and JavaScript in full-stack development environments
- Strong knowledge of SASS/CSS and responsive web development principles
- Proven proficiency in communicating effectively in spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Proven skills to collaborate successfully within cross-functional and distributed teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with diverse stakeholders and team members
