TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage.
They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S;, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

- Establishing and operating production areas in a safe, environmentally sound and prudent manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensuring that the production areas are maintained in accordance with the Operational and Manufacturing procedures and best practices within the Business Unit.
- What your background should look like:




- Bachelors or Master's degree with 5+ yrs of manufacturing leadership experience
- Prior experience working as an Operational Leader with proven experience
- Strong planning and organizational skills, effectively managing competing priorities with available resources.
- Experienced in leading and creating a high performing team.
- Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and CI (5S, Six Sigma, VSM)
- Strong oral and written communications
- Project Management skills
- IT Skills (SAP, MS, Office)
- Recommends best work practices and improvements; coaching employees to be the best version of themselves
