**Job Description**:
Responsible for highly complex planning activities related to equipment layouts in plant, office, and production facilities.
Conducts studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow considering the maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel, while ensuring workplace safety.
Proposes alternatives for materials specifications and qualifying suppliers in order to prepare cost forecasts.
Develops and applies advanced engineering theories, methods and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex technical problems.
Analyzes,



evaluates and plans method of approach and organizes means to achieve the solution to complex technical problems.
- Recommends the production methods and processes required to meet design objectives on new or improved products and/or processes.
Coordinates the preparation of project designs and inspects their implementation.
May act as internal consultant providing technical guidance on most complex projects.
May plan and direct projects or major phases of projects within industrial engineering and provide technical direction to and coordinate the efforts of engineers and technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects.
Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Requires at least 8 years related experience.
- Expert knowledge of advanced engineering theories, methods and research techniques.
- Advanced ability to investigate and resolve complex technical problems.
- Expert ability to understand and optimize operations workflow.
- Project management expertise.
- Able to provide work leadership.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Expert knowledge of technical plans, blueprints, drawings.
