We are looking for a Warehouse Incoming General Supervisor to join the Marelli Electronics Team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain, Planning and Logistics Manager.
As the Warehouse Incoming General Supervisor at Marelli, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling and storage of electronic components and finished goods. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to optimize operations in alignment with Marelli's standards and goals.
Your Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, inventory management, and shipping of products.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory audits to minimize discrepancies.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure quality standards are met, and products are handled according to specified procedures to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
- Reporting:
Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance metrics, inventory levels, and process improvements.
- Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications you will bring
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
