InfoVision is hiring a senior Android developer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android SDK tooling
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable mobile architecture
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and platform-specific bugs across Android releases
- Build working knowledge of the team's React Native codebase in preparation for a transition into a React Native-focused role
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver cohesive user experiences
- Apply mobile architecture best practices, design patterns, and code review standards across the codebase
- Communicate technical tradeoffs and project status clearly to engineering leadership and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor engineers informally today, with the expectation of formally leading a mobile team as the role matures

Required Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional mobile development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Android and Kotlin
- Working experience with React Native, including component architecture, native module bridging, and cross-platform state management
- Demonstrated experience as a mobile architect or technical lead on Android or cross-platform projects




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization across Android and React Native
- Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines for mobile release management

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience leading or mentoring a mobile engineering team
- Familiarity with native module development bridging Android and React Native
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks and automated release pipelines
- Background contributing to architecture decisions for large-scale, multi-platform mobile products
