Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a background in Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) and process engineering.
This role is responsible for driving quality performance across operations and the supply base, improving manufacturing and service processes, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products.
The idóneo candidate combines strong analytical skills, supplier management experience, and hands‐on process improvement expertise to support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Quality & Development
Partner with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and performance expectations
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, CAPA) for production and supplier-related issues
Support supplier onboarding, PPAP/APQP processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and performance metrics
Operations & Process Improvement
Analyze and improve internal processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performance
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, DMAIC, etc.)
Identify process gaps and implement sustainable corrective actions
Develop and maintain process documentation, control plans, and standard work instructions
Collaborate cross‐functionally with operations, engineering, and procurement teams
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and external standards (ISO, regulatory, etc.)
Lead root cause analysis for internal and customer quality issues
Implement preventive measures to reduce defects and variability
Data & Performance Management
Track, analyze, and report key quality and operational KPIs
Utilize data‐driven insights to identify trends and improvement opportunities

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)
3–7+ years of experience in:
Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE)
Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
Strong experience w root cause analysis and problem‐solving tools (8D, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.)
Knowledge of quality systems (ISO **** or similar)
Preferred:
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
Experience with APQP, PPAP, and supplier qualification processes
Experience in multi‐site or decentralized operations environments
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality management tools
Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Ability to influence suppliers and internal teams
Results‐driven with continuous improvement mindset
High level of organization and attention to detail
