Demonstrated ability to write great code using Java and Python is a must.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals and the ability to implement algorithms using tools like PyTorch/Tensorflow.
- Strong knowledge of scientific computing packages such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and scipy.
- Hands-on experience developing java REST-based services using frameworks like Dropwizard, Micronaut, or equivalent.
- Strong shell/bash scripting skills.
- System design fundamentals and distributed systems architecture best practices.
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL.
- Strong knowledge of relational database technology and best practices in performance tuning and troubleshooting, with knowledge of Oracle RDBMS-specifics being a plus.
- Experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code for Cloud deployment automation, preferably OpenToFu/Terraform.
