Key Responsibilities

- Plant-level financial and accounting control, with reporting and coordination to the parent company abroad
- Preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, accounting close, and reporting to parent company
- Oversight of plant tax, accounting, and regulatory compliance in Mexico (including IMMEX regime)
- Plant budget development and control, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Coordination with external and internal audit
- Implementation and oversight of plant-level internal controls
- Cash management and treasury oversight for the local operation
- Leadership of the plant's accounting and finance team
- Financial reporting in English to corporate headquarters

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA certification preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in Controller or Finance Manager roles, ideally at manufacturing plants or under the IMMEX regime
- Proven experience reporting to a foreign parent company
- Advanced/fluent English, required
- Strong command of USGAAP and Mexican tax regulations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, or similar)
- Availability to relocate to/reside in Mérida
