Job Overview

The Manufacturing & Process Engineer II supports the monitoring, control, and continuous improvement of assembly manufacturing processes to ensure operational stability, product quality, and efficient production performance. This role provides technical support to Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams while contributing to process optimization, standardization initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining process reliability, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting new product introductions and assembly line expansions.

What your background should look like

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications or specialized training in Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, or Continuous Improvement are a plus.
- Intermediate to Advanced English preferred.

Experience

- 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly processes.
- Experience providing technical support to production operations and resolving process-related issues.
- Participation in continuous improvement and process standardization initiatives.

Technical Knowledge

- Manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Basic problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Process data analysis and performance metrics.
- Technical documentation and process control.
- Basic Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

Process Monitoring & Operational Support





- Monitor critical assembly process parameters and report deviations impacting quality, productivity, or safety.
- Track key process performance indicators, including scrap, cycle times, efficiency, rejects, and machine availability.
- Provide technical support to Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve recurring process issues.
- Verify compliance with work instructions, established process parameters, and standard operating conditions.

Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
- Analyze process data to identify trends, variations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on quality, productivity, waste reduction, and process standardization.
- Support the implementation and validation of technical improvements to assembly processes, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing methods.
- Assist in optimizing process performance through data-driven recommendations.

Documentation & Process Control
- Maintain and update process documentation in accordance with approved changes.
- Support process validation and documentation activities.
- Ensure technical documents accurately reflect current manufacturing practices and standards.

New Product Introduction & Project Support
- Participate in new product introductions, process implementations, and assembly line transfers.
- Support process startups, validations, pilot runs, and production trials.
- Assist with cross-functional initiatives to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Contribute to projects that improve operational performance and process reliability.
