Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
This position is part of the Logistics Management team and is responsible for ensuring the control and integrity of the information supporting Atlacomulco Plant's foreign trade activities through the timely maintenance and updating of the IMMEX system.
Responsabilities:
- Manage and coordinate import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs requirements, proper classification of transactions, and validation of the corresponding documentation for customs clearance.
- Administer and monitor processes related to the IMMEX program, including the determination of customs regimes, inventory control, and the updating of records in applicable systems.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of foreign trade information through the reconciliation of physical and electronic inventories, identifying discrepancies and promoting corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date information and documentation for import, export, and customs regime change transactions, ensuring their availability for operational, fiscal, and regulatory compliance purposes.
- Prepare and distribute periodic foreign trade reports, providing timely information to the involved stakeholders to support decision-making and process compliance.
- Provide operational support in shipment coordination and communication with customs brokers, ensuring business continuity in the absence of key personnel.
Qualifications
Profile Requirements
- Proficiency in the IMMEX program
- Knowledge of supply chain processes
- Basic to intermediate level of English proficiency
- Proficiency in ERP systems related to the area
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's Degree required; professional certification/licensure preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Logistics field.
