Position Overview

We're looking for Senior Electrical Designers/Engineers to join the team. The adecuado candidate brings 10-15 years of experience in electrical design, quality control, and project management, with a proven ability to lead projects, mentor team members, and maintain strong client relationships.

This role is responsible for integrating the entire manufacturing building from an electrical standpoint — not just power distribution and lighting, but also power and controls for HVAC and process equipment, plus instrumentation. This is the single biggest driver of who we're looking for.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead electrical system design for life-science, pharmaceutical, biotech, and advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Integrate the manufacturing building electrically end-to-end: power distribution, lighting, power and controls for HVAC and process equipment, and instrumentation.
- Perform quality control reviews of electrical documents, ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain design tools, standards,

and processes that improve efficiency and consistency across projects.
- Coordinate with architecture, mechanical, plumbing, and process teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Support project management activities including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
- Mentor junior designers and engineers, fostering professional growth within the electrical team.
- Participate in remote collaboration sessions, design reviews, and client meetings as a technical lead.

Qualifications

- B.S. in Architectural Engineering or related discipline (required).
- 10-15 years of electrical design experience in fast-paced engineering environments.
- Strong background in commercial, retail, mixed-use, warehouse, or data center projects; pharmaceutical/life-science facility experience preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Revit for electrical design and the ability to perform electrical classification (key requirement).
- NEC/NFPA fluency is not required on day one: candidates with strong Revit and electrical classification skills can ramp into it on the job.
- Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, organization, leadership, and communication.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with the team.

Why Join?

- Work on cutting-edge projects in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
- Join a collaborative, entrepreneurial firm where your experience directly shapes their growth.
- Flexible remote position with opportunities for periodic site visits or client meetings.
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities.
