Overview

A leading company in the industrial construction sector is seeking a PROJECT CONTROL / Senior Scheduler to support large-scale construction projects across industrial, manufacturing, data center, and commercial facilities. This role is responsible for leading project scheduling and controls activities, including the development, maintenance, and analysis of detailed project schedules covering design, procurement, construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and project closeout. The position serves as a key project controls resource, providing schedule management, progress tracking, forecasting, resource planning, reporting, and performance analysis to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with project objectives, while supporting project teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Schedule Development & Management: Lead the development, baseline preparation, maintenance, and periodic update of integrated project schedules for all phases of delivery, including design, procurement, construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and closeout, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and project objectives.
- Project Controls & Performance Analysis: Monitor project progress, collect and validate field data, analyze schedule performance, identify variances, evaluate critical path impacts, and support corrective action plans to mitigate delays and improve project execution.
- Coordination & Schedule Integration: Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, discipline leads, owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to integrate schedule inputs,



validate sequencing, resolve schedule conflicts, and support timely decision-making.
- Reporting, Forecasting & Risk Visibility: Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, look-ahead schedules, executive summaries, performance indicators, forecasts, and schedule risk analyses to provide clear visibility to project leadership and clients.
- Resource-Loaded & Cost-Loaded Scheduling: Develop, review, and maintain resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules to support manpower planning, equipment forecasting, cash flow projections, productivity analysis, and project controls reporting.
- Process Improvement & Technical Guidance: Support project controls standards, maintain historical scheduling and performance data, contribute to lessons learned, improve planning and reporting processes, and provide technical guidance to project teams and less experienced schedulers.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field; equivalent technical training and substantial construction scheduling experience may also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, construction planning, or schedule management for industrial, manufacturing, data center,



or large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Advanced proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 for schedule development, maintenance, critical path analysis, baseline, progress updates, and reporting; Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing baseline schedules, recovery schedules, look-ahead schedules, schedule narratives, and resource-loaded or cost-loaded schedules.
- Strong knowledge of schedule progress measurement, field data validation, variance analysis, forecasting, schedule impact evaluation, and delay mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency with project controls and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, Synchro, and other construction technology platforms used for planning, reporting, and progress tracking.
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, field operations, trade coordination, procurement timelines, schedule logic, productivity drivers, and project execution workflows.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain schedule risks, constraints, trends, and mitigation actions to project teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work on active construction sites as required.
- Ability to assess project performance, identify schedule and controls risks, recommend mitigation strategies, support recovery planning, and contribute to successful project delivery.
