The role

The Motorman is responsible for supporting the Engine Department in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all machinery and mechanical systems onboard the vessel. This role ensures that all equipment functions safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and maritime regulations.

This is a temporary position, established to support the Company’s operational requirements for a defined period.

What you will do:

- Assist in the operation and monitoring of main engines, auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on engine room machinery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the engine room and associated spaces.
- Monitor gauges, alarms, and control systems, reporting any abnormalities to the Engineer on duty.
- Support bunkering operations and fuel transfers as required.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and document completed tasks accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies.




- Assist during emergency situations as part of the vessel’s emergency response team.
- Perform extraordinary duties as assigned by their supervisor to achieve team and company goals.

What you bring:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience onboard Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs) preferred.
- Valid and up-to-date certifications, including STCW Basic Training (STCW 13.3), Seaman’s Book, and Medical Certificate.
- Valid passport.
- Technical or maritime training is preferred.
- Previous experience in engine room operations is an asset.
