About the Role

We are looking for a
Senior Accountant
to manage the financial close process and day-to-day accounting activities for a portfolio of business clients.

This is a highly client-facing role for someone with strong
full-cycle accounting experience
who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, analyzing financial information, troubleshooting accounting issues, and working directly with clients to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

The idóneo candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, technology-savvy, and comfortable taking ownership of accounting processes and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the
monthly financial close process
for a portfolio of business clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Review client financial statements and accounting records on an ongoing basis and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform
account reconciliations, financial analysis, and troubleshooting
within client accounting systems.
- Serve as a key client contact, working closely with clients and internal teams to understand needs, resolve accounting matters,



and meet deadlines.
- Provide support and guidance on higher-level
technical accounting questions
.
- Assist with the integration of new applications into clients' accounting systems.
- Document accounting systems, procedures, and workflows.
- Partner with the Accounting Manager to strategically plan and improve internal accounting workflows.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support timely business decision-making.
- Proactively manage deadlines, project statuses, and client expectations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field
.
- 5+ years of accounting experience
, preferably in a client-facing environment.
- Strong
full-cycle accounting
experience.
- Experience with
QuickBooks Online
is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, account reconciliations, and financial close processes.
