About the Position
Confidential manufacturing company with IMMEX operations in Tijuana is looking for an experienced B2B Sales Representative / Business Development professional to develop new customers and sell contract manufacturing and maquiladora services to companies in Mexico and the United States.
We are specifically looking for candidates with previous commercial experience selling manufacturing capabilities such as:
- Electronics manufacturing and assembly
- PCB / Printed Circuit Board assembly
- Automotive manufacturing processes
- Injection molding
- Assembly and sub-assembly
- Industrial and contract manufacturing services
- Other specialized manufacturing processes
This is a business development position, focused on prospecting, opening new accounts and developing long-term relationships with manufacturing customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new B2B customers in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and the United States.
- Sell contract manufacturing, maquiladora and industrial manufacturing services.
- Identify opportunities within the electronics, automotive, PCB assembly, injection molding and related manufacturing industries.
- Develop relationships with purchasing, sourcing, engineering, operations and decision-makers within manufacturing companies.
- Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, volumes, commercial terms and service agreements.
- Conduct customer visits, presentations and plant meetings.
- Follow up on RFQs, quotations, new projects and commercial opportunities.
- Coordinate customer requirements with Engineering, Production, Materials and Quality.
- Maintain and develop existing customer relationships.
- Build and manage a commercial pipeline and sales forecas
