ROLE SUMMARY & CAREER GROWTH

As the first local technical after-sales team member in Mexico, this high-visibility position offers massive potential for fast-tracked career growth and immediate future team leadership/management opportunities. The engineer will operate as a core part of a 2-person elite hub on the ground, collaborating directly with a senior co-located Chinese Field Engineer and backed by remote technical engineering divisions at corporate headquarters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Installation, Commissioning & Field Maintenance

Perform precise on-site installation, technical setup, electrical alignment, and system calibration of high voltage laser cutting systems at client factories.

Execute routine preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to ensure optimal machine uptime and continuous field performance.

Diagnose, troubleshoot,



and repair electro-mechanical systems, CNC controllers, and servo drives. (Note: Highly complex core overhauls are returned to factory; role focuses on module replacement and systematic troubleshooting).

2. Customer Care & Technical Enablement

Provide direct on-site and phone technical support to resolve machine queries swiftly.

Conduct technical safety, operations, and basic troubleshooting training for customer maintenance staff.

Prepare comprehensive field service reports, technical documentation, and spare parts utilization logs.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields. Equivalent deep hands-on expertise is highly accepted.
