Job Summary
The Trainee Maintenance position at Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is an entry-level role designed to develop foundational skills in industrial maintenance, supporting the upkeep and optimal functioning of machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist senior maintenance technicians with routine preventative maintenance tasks on production machinery, including inspections, lubrication, and basic adjustments.
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions under supervision, applying established procedures.
- Support the repair and replacement of faulty components, adhering to safety protocols and technical specifications.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and repair times.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations, procedures, and environmental policies.
- Learn to interpret technical manuals,



schematics, and blueprints.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying potential areas for efficiency gains in maintenance processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in industrial maintenance.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in various industrial environments.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.
