Key Responsibilities:Prepare and file monthly VAT returns (IVA) and ensure compliance with all indirect tax obligations under Mexican law.Reconcile VAT accounts and ensure proper documentation for VAT recovery and credit balances.Ensure the accurate calculation and timely submission of all tax obligations.Monitor and implement changes from Mexican VAT and indirect tax legislation, ensuring timely and accurate updates to internal processes, looking for mitigation of tax risks.Assist in the preparation of documentation for SAT audits and reviews, including responding to information requests and maintaining organized records.Validate and manage electronic invoicing (CFDI) processes, ensuring compliance with SAT requirements and OEM-specific addenda.Support the correct application of VAT on imports and exports, including under IMMEX,



and other trade facilitation programs.Participate in ERP system improvements and validate tax-related system updates.Work closely with internal Teams to ensure accurate tax treatment of transactions.Assist in training and guiding team members on tax processes and updates.Prepare and analyze KPI reports related to tax performance and compliance.Continuously propose and support improvements in tax processes and routines.Ensure alignment with internal policies and integral standards.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.1–2 years of experience in VAT or indirect tax roles, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.Solid understanding of Mexican VAT law, including treatment of sector-specific exemptions.Experience with SAT platforms, CFDI validation tools, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in Spanish; English is a plus for multinational coordination.
