Senior Palantir Foundry Engineer at BairesDev
In this role, you'll lead discovery work directly with surgeons, schedulers, and OR managers, then set the technical direction for the team. Working across multiple Foundry workstreams, you'll help transition operating room allocation from a utilization-based to a demand-driven, multi-site optimization model. This is your opportunity to work as a true Forward Deployed Engineer,
combining deep Foundry expertise with direct engagement with non-technical clinical users to shape how perioperative operations run.
What You'll Do
- Lead discovery and design sessions with clinical stakeholders to align on requirements, architecture, and success criteria.
- Redesign optimization logic to support cross-site prioritization and demand-driven OR allocation.
- Migrate the OR scheduler to OSDK to improve user experience, scalability, and reliability.
- Consolidate surgeon metadata into a unified dataset with standardized naming conventions and record identifiers.
- Build reporting interfaces that support decision-making on OR capacity utilization.
- Set technical direction and standards for the team.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on, production experience with Palantir Foundry, including Ontology design and pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with OSDK (Ontology SDK) building applications against the Ontology.
- Knowledge of Epic data and schema such as Clarity or
