A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Performs precise calibrations and preventive and corrective maintenance on measuring and test equipment, systems, instruments, tools, gauges and fixtures and the calibration and validation of test and data analysis equipment
and systems used for clinical research, trials and product testing.
Sets up test equipment and conducts tests on performance and reliability of mechanical, structural or electromechanical equipment.
Maintains, tests, troubleshoots, calibrates, and repairs a variety of circuits, components,



analytical equipment and instrumentation for laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
Develops calibration operating procedures, logs, protocols and/or documentation for instruments and may prepare technical reports with recommendations for solutions to technical problems.
Selects, specifies, maintain and/or procures instrument spare parts and purchase of components to minimize machine downtime.
Analyzes results and may develop test specifications and electrical schematics.
Coordinates calibration with outside contractors for equipment that cannot be maintained internally.
Nice to have:
Fluent English (written and spoken) – project follow-up and communication are conducted entirely in English.
Knowledge of metrology and equipment calibration.
Experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
