Role Purpose: Position is at the very center of a fast-paced compliance environment. Person should possess an in-depth knowledge of all Hours of Service (HOS)



rules and the ability to professionally communicate with driver employees and Independent Contractors while maintaining a positive team oriented attitude. Person must be organized and engaged with the team.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Log Specialist provides outstanding service acting as the primary point of contact for our current drivers and contractors. Log Specialists are responsible for educating and retraining drivers who are in non-compliance with Federal, State, and Local Laws, and Company Policies relating to Hours of Service Rules. The primary goal is to protect the organization, and its drivers, from legal compliance risk through proper and thorough management of non-compliant drivers via education and/or discipline, up to and including termination of employment.
