Application Developer I, Engineering

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing Copper Hill
applications. At Copper Hill, developers play an integral role in bringing efficiencies to the
organization. Our developers integrate with operations and other Technology team members to
ensure that Copper Hill tools are adding value to the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand requirements and how they translate to new application features.
• Design, development, and test high-quality code to complete project assignments on
schedule
• Participate in planning and design discussions to ensure full understanding of a task in
order to provide accurate estimates.
• Adhere to coding best practices as defined by senior and principal developers.




• Work collaboratively with other Developers, Product Owners, QA Specialists, and Scrum
Masters to deliver team goals on schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS
• BS/BA in Computer Science or relevant field or relevant software development
experience
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C# and Java
• Strong understanding of database principals and design and SQL programming language
• Strong understanding of software design and programming principles
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Angular experience is a plus.
