Senior Solution Developer / Data and Identity

Acxiom is looking for a Senior Solution Developer to join our Mexico team and support a major financial services client.
This is a hands-on development role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, building and enhancing solutions, and working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and competing priorities.
You will work primarily with Java in a Unix/Linux environment, along with SQL and some C/C++, supporting both new solution development and existing production applications. while partnering with account, delivery, technical, and project teams.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, enhance, and support client solutions based on complex business and technical requirements.
Develop primarily in Java within Unix/Linux environments, with exposure to C/C++ and SQL/PL-SQL.
Build custom application code and automation that integrates Acxiom and third-party technologies.
Support new development, ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and production issues.




Work with large data volumes and relational databases, including Oracle or similar DBMS platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, coding, and data-processing issues.
Translate business requirements and high-level designs into effective technical solutions.
Provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates and help break larger initiatives into manageable development tasks.
Lead and participate in code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance.
Mentor less-experienced developers and help establish development standards and best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and optimize existing solutions.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of relevant software development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong hands-on development experience with Java.
Strong experience working in a Unix/Linux environment, including commands, file management, and shell scripting.
