we are looking for a cost specialist to optimize financial efficiency through cost control and analysis, ensuring company profitability through accurate execution of financial processes.

key responsibilities

- cost analysis and management, including accounts receivable.
- monthly financial close with a focus on inventory and costs.
- support the controllership team with inventory, cost, revaluation, and annual plan reports.
- product costing and transfer pricing determination.
- cost analysis for new products in coordination with engineering.
- evaluation of manufacturing process costs and proposal of cost-reduction initiatives.
- inventory administration and control, including cost variance analysis.




- cost allocation and analysis for corporate reporting and variance explanations.
- customer account management and issuance of account statements.

what we’re looking for

- bachelor’s degree in accounting, public accounting, business administration, finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cost accounting.
- experience in the manufacturing sector (maquiladora experience preferred).
- understanding of accounting principles (mx gaap and us gaap).
- experience with erp systems (sap and oracle preferred) and spreadsheets.
- intermediate english proficiency.
- ability to build financial models and manage projects and costs.
- knowledge of basic economic principles.
