required qualifications:

- experience with a cloud platform such as gcp, aws, or azure.
- hands-on experience supporting kubernetes workloads in production.
- experience developing and maintaining ci/cd pipelines.
- experience with terraform or another infrastructure as code tool.
- experience with monitoring, logging, incident response, and production troubleshooting.
- proficiency in python, typescript, bash, or another automation language.
- experience supporting highly available production systems.
- strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering teams.

preferred qualifications:

- experience with gcp and gke.
- experience with github actions.
- experience with cloud monitoring, opentelemetry, prometheus, or grafana.
- experience with istio or another service mesh.
- experience with apigee or another api gateway.
