Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and commercially driven Grocery / FMCG Buyer to join our purchasing team.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the Mexican grocery, food, beverage, or FMCG industry, with strong market knowledge and, ideally, an established network of suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and industry contacts.
This is not a purely administrative purchasing role. We are looking for someone who understands the grocery and FMCG market, knows how to identify new opportunities, and can independently bring new products, brands, suppliers, and commercial opportunities to the company.
The role will focus on expanding our product portfolio, identifying products with potential for international markets, negotiating better costs and payment terms, and continuously improving commercial conditions with suppliers.
The adecuado candidate should be comfortable challenging existing costs and conditions,



negotiating better terms, developing strong supplier relationships, and proactively looking for ways to improve our purchasing strategy and expand our product portfolio for the USA and European markets.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new suppliers, brands, and product opportunities within the Mexican grocery and FMCG industry.
Use market knowledge and industry contacts to expand the company’s product portfolio.
Identify products with strong potential for international markets, particularly the USA and Europe.
Negotiate and improve product costs, payment terms, minimum order quantities, discounts, and other commercial conditions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and industry contacts.
Evaluate supplier offers and identify opportunities to improve purchasing margins and profitability.
Manage assigned suppliers and purchase orders, including follow-up on availability,
