Position Summary:
The Compliance Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Quality, Compliance & Sustainability, is responsible for managing and executing all domestic e-filing processes. This role ensures accurate and timely submission of product safety data and supports regulatory compliance for goods leaving Mexico and entering the United States.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Submit product safety certificate data to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Create and maintain Product IDs and Version IDs within the CPSC Product Registry platform.

Compile and provide accurate product safety information, including:

Applicable rules, bans, standards, and regulations

Testing dates and identification of testing laboratories

Any applicable testing exclusions relied upon for compliance

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to gather and validate data for e-filing submissions.

Partner with factory planning and production teams to ensure confirmed and future planned orders reflect accurate and up-to-date shipping timelines.

Work closely with Quality Control teams to obtain current test reports and order details.

Submit Product ID lists for finished goods ready to ship to company-designated customs brokers.

Ensure customs brokers accurately and timely upload required data into the CBP Partner Government Agency (PGA) Message Set.

Verify that all certificates reflect testing used to support compliance, including testing conducted on finished goods.

Maintain and update the internal e-Filing Matrix to track all finished goods imported into the United States.





Provide weekly reporting of the e-Filing Matrix to internal teams.

Manage annual certification renewals to ensure continued compliance for replenishment programs.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.

Core Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Law, Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Certification or coursework in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Import/Export Compliance, or Product Safety is desirable.

Experience 1-3 years of experience in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Import/Export, foreign trade, quality assurance, or document management.

Experience with e-filing processes and the electronic submission of regulatory information.

Experience handling documentation for products exported from Mexico to the United States.

Experience in manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, automotive, or regulated industries is desirable.

Strong process orientation with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend solutions.

Proficiency in reporting, data tracking, and analysis.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

Effective communication skills across all organizational levels and with external partners.

Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Strong multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Administrative experience preferred.
