This role will focus on building scalable, production-grade data and reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and PySpark in a collaborative, multi-developer environment. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong experience in end-to-end analytics development, CI/CD, and team-based Power BI delivery.
Core Requirements (Must-Have)
Microsoft Fabric + Power BI (Current Experience)
· Recent, hands-on experience with:
o Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Notebooks, Data Pipelines, and/or Semantic Models)
o Power BI (data modeling, report development, and performance tuning)
· Proven ability to build and support production-grade Power BI solutions
PySpark / Spark-Based Data Engineering
· Hands-on experience using PySpark or Spark SQL for data transformation
· Experience working in a multi-developer Power BI environment, including:
o Shared datasets / semantic models
o Coordinating changes across reports and models
o Managing dependencies across multiple developers
CI/CD & Deployment
· Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for analytics solutions, including:
o Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tools
o Deployment of Power BI, Fabric artifacts, notebooks, and pipelines
o Managing environment promotion (Dev → Test → Prod)
Programming & Data Modeling
· Strong proficiency in:
o SQL (advanced querying and performance tuning)
o Python (PySpark preferred)
o Power BI stack: DAX and Power Query (M)
Nice to Have
· Experience in clinical, pharmaceutical, or research environments
· Familiarity with clinical or EDC (Electronic Data Capture) datasets
· Experience with data governance, security, and compliance in regulated environments
