Job Overview
This position will provide Inventory control support for the Finance Manager, Plant Manager and Finance Director, provide an individual business analysis with various inventory issues, forecasting production E&O; controls, IM and WHM etc and will report to the Finance Manager. Other responsibilities include ensuring strong inventory movements, and inventory control.
A Day In The Life
- Responsible for working with the Materials team to ensure inventory accuracy and effective inventory control.
- Responsible for overseeing inventory control practices and ensuring efficient procedures are in place.
- Responsible for partnering with Operations to address capacity constraints, lean activities, and material-related issues.
- Responsible for working with Materials and Operations to monitor inventory levels, product demand, and sales trends.
- Responsible for developing monthly, quarterly, and annual production forecasts with the Business Unit and Planning team.
- Responsible for monitoring and reducing excess-to-policy inventory and excess and obsolete inventory.
- Responsible for leading the cycle count strategy and establishing schedules for regular and special cycle counts.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining a filing system for facts, discrepancies, and issues identified during the inventory counting process to support accurate and retrievable records.
- Responsible for coordinating with the appropriate departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods, transfers, and returns across both sites and interplants.
- Responsible for researching, reconciling, and recording inventory and scrap discrepancies in a timely manner.

- 5 years manufacturing experience
- At least 3 years people managing role
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting, auditing, materials and related experience of which at least 5 years must be in inventory control.
- International experience working with foreign currency a plus
- SAP
