Tooling & Stamping Sr. Engineer
(
*Progressive Die Designer)*
to lead tooling development, support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within our wire forming and metal components manufacturing operations.

This is a highly visible role where you'll collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams while making a direct impact on quality, productivity, and operational performance.

What You'll Do

? Lead tooling and process development for new product launches

? Review customer drawings and specifications to ensure manufacturability

? Coordinate prototype builds, tooling trials, and production validations

? Design, improve, and troubleshoot:
- Stamping dies
- Fixtures
- Gauges
- Wire forming tooling

? Partner with Production, Quality,



and Maintenance teams to optimize manufacturing performance

? Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for tooling and process-related issues

? Develop and qualify tooling suppliers while managing project timelines, costs, and performance

? Support APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and customer-specific quality requirements

? Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, SMED, and Kaizen methodologies

What We're Looking For

✅ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field

✅ 5+ years of experience in:
- Tooling Engineering
- Tooling Design & Manufacturing
- Stamping Operations
- Wire Forming
- Metal Fabrication

✅ Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

✅ Experience designing and troubleshooting production tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges

✅ Strong understanding of:
- Stamping
- Bending
- Welding
- Wire Forming
